How to machine a Dust Shoe on the Tormach 770!
In preparation for next week’s Wednesday Widget (hint-hint: Richlite) we want a dust shoe to keep the machine free of debris. We use the Tormach 770 to machine the aluminum spindle clamp and the Boss Laser to cut the acrylic parts. Contrary to our bootstrapper mentality, we had to purchase a dust collector instead of using the shop vac and I must say..this thing SUCKS! Any guesses as to what we’re making next week?
