How to use Backside Chamfer Tools in Fusion 360 on our Tormach PCNC Mill!

Testing 4 different tools to chamfer the backside of our parts in the same setup. While you can purchase a dedicated backside chamfer tool, you might be able to find a few of these in your toolbox right now! We’ll discuss pros and cons of each tool, recommended speeds & feeds, and tips for setting up CAM in Fusion 360.

 

 

This tool is made from Carbide (stiffer), the smaller diameter is great for small areas & small holes, and it has a relieved shank
